Orangutan Charity Bags

Orangutan Charity Bags
We are so excited to finally be able to announce the charities we are supporting this year.
The first one is very close to my heart after all my trips to Indonesia to support the charities that rehabilitate orangutans so they can be released back into safe areas in the wild and teach orphan baby orangutans to survive in the wild I am aware that some of the sweets we sell do contain palm oil and I need a way to counterbalance that after what I have seen and experienced over there. Believe me it is not about “cute” babies. It’s tough heartbreaking work.
So every bag of these mini bananas we sell this year will raise 50p and the charity jar at the shop is for Orangutan Veterinary Aid to help Sara and Nigel carry on the fantastic work they do providing veterinary equipment and training to the vets out there. I’ve seen this in action 3 times now and sadly can’t travel as far now so it is important to me to carry on fundraising for them.
I just need to say thank you to all our wonderful customers over the last 13 years who have helped me raise well over £4,000 for orangutan charities and to inkREADible Labels Limited for creating these adorable orange labels (they do all our shop labels).
Thank you
